The Head of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic performed Umrah in Saudi Arabia
The Head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov performed Umrah (minor hajj) in Saudi Arabia. He visited sacred places for Muslims together with the Mufti of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic Muhammad Erkenov, the Chairman of the regional government Murat Argunov and his brother Teimuraz Temrezov (Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol regional court).

According to Muhammad Erkenov, during their stay in the holy places they were able to feel unity with millions of believers who also strive to get closer to Allah.

"We performed the Umrah rituals, walked around the Kaaba and between the mountains of Safa and Marwa, and also spent time in prayer, asking for peace and well-being for our small and large homeland, as well as for all of humanity. Then we headed to the holy Medina, to the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),” the press service of the Muslim Spiritual Directorate of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic reports Erkenov’s words.
