Georgia's ruling party has initiated amendments to the Law on Assemblies and Manifestations and the Code of Administrative Offenses, the discussion and adoption of which will proceed expeditiously. According to the bill, organizers of events at "places where people move" will be required to notify state authorities in advance.
Head of Dagestan sentenced in absentia in Ukraine
Head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison in Ukraine for helping members of the "SVO". He was found guilty under the article on financing actions committed with the aim of changing the borders of Ukraine.
The SBU noted that Melikov provides support to the Russian Armed Forces and calls on fellow citizens to also help the military.
In total, about 180 thousand criminal cases were opened in Ukraine against Russians for assisting the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
