Georgia was ahead of Russia and other countries of the region in terms of passport attractiveness
In 2025, Georgia took 44th place in the world rating of attractiveness of passports. It is evaluated based on the possibility of visa-free entry and obtaining a visa upon arrival.
 
Citizens of Georgia can enter 122 countries without a visa or with a simplified procedure. Russia ranks 46th in the ranking. Azerbaijan occupies 70th place, Armenia - 74th.
 
According to the Henley Passport Index, Singapore has the most attractive passport. It assumes a visa-free regime (or obtaining a visa on arrival) with 195 countries. Singapore is followed by Japan (193 countries), followed by Finland, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Spain (192).
 
The worst situation is for the residents of Afghanistan - for them, simplified entry is valid only in 26 countries. The situation is slightly better in Syria (27 countries), Iraq (31), Yemen and Pakistan (33).
