Georgia welcomes Ukrainian children orphaned by war for summer camp

A summer camp program for Ukrainian children has begun in Georgia. The first group has already arrived in the country—children of military personnel and children left parentless by the war in Ukraine. They were accompanied by chaperones from Kyiv.

Over the course of ten days, camp participants will enjoy a rich cultural and educational program. Excursions around Tbilisi, as well as trips to Bodbe, Sighnaghi, and Telavi, are available. A variety of creative, educational, and entertaining activities are also planned.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and government representatives met with the participants of the first camp.

The program will not end there. From July 4 to 15, Georgia will host a second group—children of Ukrainian National Guard servicemen from Sumy.
The Georgian government administration announced the summer camp.
