Georgian authorities reported the detention of 15 Russian citizens at rallies
Fourteen citizens of the Russian Federation were detained at protests in Georgia from November 28 to December 9. The corresponding message was posted on the Facebook page of the Russian Interests Section at the Swiss Embassy.

As of December 10, 13 Russians have already been released, and two were subject to administrative arrest until December 11 and 13.

One of the detainees was released after a day, and seven more after 48 hours. The cases of seven detainees were considered by the court, as a result of which four were released, and three were sentenced to administrative arrest.

Recall that earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that among the detainees were Russian citizens and a British citizen. According to the head of the Cabinet, these could be foreign instructors who organize violent groups to participate in the protests.
