Ingushetia, Chechnya, and Dagestan are among the worst performers in terms of projected wage growth

According to data provided by RIA Novosti, the regions of the North Caucasus, particularly Ingushetia, Chechnya, and Dagestan, are among the worst performers in terms of wage growth in the Russian Federation. Income growth in these republics is significantly lower than national averages.

Ingushetia, ranked 85th, demonstrated the lowest wage growth. Half of the region's residents are projected to reach an income of 200,000 rubles or more (adjusted for local purchasing power) in 22 years. For a quarter of the population, this figure is expected in 17 years, and for 75%, in 25 years and 8 months.

Dagestan, ranked 83rd, expects half of the population to earn 200,000 rubles or more in 15 years. A quarter of residents will reach this level in 11 years, and 75% in 19 years. In Kabardino-Balkaria (82nd place), the corresponding periods are 14 years, 10 years and 9 months, and 17 years. North Ossetia (81st place) shows results of 13 years, 9 years and 8 months, and 16 years and 7 months, respectively.

The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug leads in terms of the speed of achieving the projected salary level. Half of the population will be able to expect an income of over 200,000 rubles in 5 years and 7 months, a quarter in 1 year and 8 months, and 75% in 9 years and 7 months. Also among the leaders are the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Tatarstan, Magadan Oblast, and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

Across Russia as a whole, the average time to reach an income of 200,000 rubles or more for half the population is 8 years. A quarter of the population will reach this level in 4 years 7 months, and 75% in 11 years 4 months.
