Ingushetia became an anti-leader in reducing life expectancy

In 2022, life expectancy increased in all regions of the Russian Federation, except Ingushetia. This is reported by Rosstat.

In Ingushetia, the indicator fell by 2.1 years - to 78.3 years. The highest growth rates were demonstrated by the Saratov region (+3.7 years, up to 72.8), Tatarstan (+3.6 years, up to 74.9 years), Moscow (+3.6 years, up to 78.1). 

Among the regions with the worst life expectancy were the republics of Tuva (+0.2 years to 67.1), Buryatia (+0.4 years to 69.4 years) and Altai (+0.6 years to 68.5 years).

In Russia, 52% of men do not live to age 65. This was recently reported by the director of the Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology, the chief specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on reproductive health Oleg Apolikhin. According to him, 81% of men die suddenly, 74% of them die in the workplace.
