Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan warned against the current government's flippant attitude toward possible harsh responses from Moscow. He believes the authorities fail to grasp the scale of the potential impact Russia could have, including tariff revisions and export blockages.
The share of regional roads (excluding federal highways) that meet the standards in Ingushetia last year is 81.7%. This is the 5th place in the country and the 1st in the North Caucasus Federal District according to the results of a study by the RIA Rating agency.
Dagestan is ranked 12th in the Russian Federation (68.1%), Kabardino-Balkaria - 24th (60.2%), Stavropol Territory - 25th (59.8%), Chechnya - 45th m place (51%).
North Ossetia ranks 54th in this index. Here, roads that meet the standards make up 45.6% of the total.
The worst position among the regions of the North Caucasus is occupied by Karachay-Cherkessia - 69th place in the country (38.6% of roads meet the standards). The outsiders also include Mari El (27.7%), Kirov region (25%), Arkhangelsk region (13.3%).
Moscow (97.6%), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (86.5%) and Krasnodar Territory (84.9%) are leaders in the rating.
