The health of Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Adam Kadyrov, who was injured in a traffic accident in Grozny, is improving, according to the Agency, citing sources close to the Russian presidential administration and the Chechen authorities.
In Crimea, 74-year-old Crimean Tatar historian Enver Seitmemetov has been charged with equating the actions of the USSR with those of Nazi Germany. About ten security officers came to his home in Bakhchisaray and took him to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Center "E" in Simferopol.
The reason for filing the report against Seitmemetov was his interview about the deportation of Crimean Tatars in 1944.
"The international community, or those in general who say today that rights are being violated, adopt laws about the United Nations, about human rights—in fact, these laws don't work. Not only should there have been the Nuremberg Trials... I think there should have been another international court that would have condemned the same victors," Seitmemetov noted.
The historian's court hearing is scheduled for December 2. Enver Seitmemetov is currently at large.
