Eighteen-year-old Adam Kadyrov, son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the "For Military Cooperation" medal. It was presented on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the self-proclaimed republic of Abkhazia, whose independence is recognized by only four countries.

Ramzan Kadyrov announced the new award, stating that his son received the medal "for a high level of interaction and strengthening of cooperation."

The award ceremony took place in Gudermes during a ceremony at the Russian Special Forces University dedicated to the winners of the tactical shooting championship among law enforcement agencies. Representatives from Abkhazia, among others, participated in the competition.

The medal is Adam Kadyrov's latest award. Since the age of 15, when he beat Nikita Zhuravel, who was arrested for burning the Koran, in a Grozny pretrial detention center, the son of the head of Chechnya has received more than 20 orders, medals, and honorary titles. During this time, he also held several positions in government and security agencies.

Kadyrov received his previous award about two weeks ago. Along with his brother, Akhmat, he was made an honorary citizen of the Kurchaloy District of Chechnya.
