Commander of the Crimean Tatar battalion: «We must return to the peninsula our history».

The Russian authorities want to leave no trace of the presence of the Crimean Tatars in Crimea. This was stated by the commander of the «Crimea» battalion, Isa Akayev.
According to him, the peninsula is renamed settlements, Tatar cemeteries and mosques are closed. «There are less than half a million of us left in Crimea. But we have to return, to return their language, culture, their color», - said Akayev.
