The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has published a report alleging that Georgian authorities used chemical weapons during the suppression of pro-European protests in Tbilisi in 2024. The chemical weapon in question is bromobenzyl cyanide, a chemical warfare agent dating back to World War I, also known as "kamit."
The command refused to recognize the injury of a Russian guard from Chechnya in the Ukrainian war.
In May 2022, a soldier named Zelimkhan Ayubov was injured by a mine during the war with Ukraine. However, the command of the 291st Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment from the village of Borzoy refused to give him the relevant certificate, which deprived him of monetary compensation. However, the Southern District Military Court sided with the plaintiff.
After treatment, Ayubov submitted to the commander a report on accruing him a payment of 3 million rubles. However, the command virtually without any reason did not do so. Grozny garrison court partially satisfied Ayubov’s claim. A representative of the military unit contested this decision, but the Southern District Military Court sided with the officer of the Russian Guard.
