On the 12th anniversary of Russia's seizure of Crimea, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reaffirming its non-recognition of the peninsula as a subject of the Russian Federation.
The Investigative Committee refused to open criminal proceedings against a serviceman from Nalchik, Dmitry Akhmaev. This is reported by the media project “Kavkaz. Realities". According to the decision of the Nalchik garrison military court, the man was injured in an explosion on the territory of the military unit. At the same time, there were no reports from the Ministry of Defense and the Investigative Committee about the explosion.
The documents received by the 316th military investigative department do not contain information about what exactly exploded in the unit, what damage Akhmaev received, and on what basis he was denied initiating a case.
Upon repeated appeal to the investigator, already with the requirement to qualify what happened as an attempted murder, the victim again received a refusal.
