A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

A 12-year-old political prisoner from Crimea, Eskender Abdulganiev, reported that he was forced to obtain Russian citizenship in a prison in Vladimir. His lawyer Alan Kachmazov said so.
Escander Abdulganiyev, during a meeting with his lawyer, managed to tell that he was transferred to a separate building, where there are 7 people. It’s in a state of repair, so it’s cold.
Escander suggests that he was moved there after he refused an offer to accept Russian citizenship and an oath. In this building he is about two months», - said the lawyer. Before his arrest, the Crimean Tatar political prisoner had Ukrainian documents.
Abdulganiev was found guilty of belonging to the political Islamic party «Hizb-ut Tahrir» which was banned in Russia. In Ukraine and other countries of the world, the organization operates without restriction at the level of national legislation. The defense and the defendants themselves called the trial fabricated. The prosecution’s motives are based on wiretaps, books found in the files of the defendants and the testimony of hidden witnesses.
