Crimean Tatar political prisoner delivered to prison after two months of transportation
Seyran Khairedinov, sentenced to 12 years in prison, was delivered from Crimea to Vladimir Prison No. 2 two months after the start of the transfer. During this time, the Crimean Tatar's "allergy worsened due to nerves," his wife Zarema said. He also had an acute respiratory viral infection.
 
Seyran Khairedinov is a builder from the village of Belokamenka in the Bakhchisaray district and a father of many children. Before his arrest, he actively participated in the public life of the Crimean Tatar people, helping to organize holidays for children.
 
In 2023, he was sentenced to 12 years on charges of involvement in the Islamic political party Hizb ut-Tahrir, recognized as terrorist in Russia. In September 2024, the Vlasikha Military Court of Appeal upheld the sentence. Seyran Khairedinov pleaded not guilty.
