Crimean Tatar political prisoner fined for refusing to work due to constant pain

The administration of the prison in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region, fined Crimean Tatar political prisoner Vladlen Abdulkadyrov. At the clinic, he was given many diagnoses; he could not tolerate physical activity. The prison administration regarded this as a refusal to work and fined the Crimean Tatar 1 thousand rubles.

Previously, the Crimean Tatar did not go for walks for more than four months due to lack of shoes. The prison staff did not provide him with seasonal shoes, and convicts are prohibited from having their own.

Let us recall that at the end of March 2019, 25 civil activists were arrested in Crimea, one of them was Vladlen Abdulkadyrov. In May 2022, due to his involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir party, banned in the Russian Federation, the court found Abdulkadyrov guilty under articles of participation in the activities of a terrorist organization and preparation for the seizure of power. The convict received 12 years in prison.
