Crimean Tatar political prisoner sent to punishment cell again

15 days of punishment cell were assigned to Crimean Tatar Teymur Abdullaev, who is serving his sentence in IK-2 Salavat (Republic of Bashkortostan). The reason for this punishment is unknown.
Since being transferred to the IK-2, the Crimean has been regularly sent to a punishment cell. Because of this, the man's health has significantly worsened: he has toothache, stomach pain, and liver pain. He also lost hearing in one ear after otitis, and his vision has worsened due to hypertension.
Earlier, Teymur Abdullaev complained of severe headaches, as well as pain in the eyes. His mother demanded that the head of the colony's medical service examine her son.
In June 2019, the North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced brothers Teymur and Uzeir Abdullayev to 16.5 and 13 years in prison, respectively. The Crimean Tatars were arrested for their involvement in the political activities of the Islamic party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia. In many countries, it operates without restrictions at the level of national legislation.
