Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

Lefortovo district court of Moscow arrested Crimean Tatar citizen of Ukraine Leni Umerova in a case of espionage (article 276 CC). She was held for more than five months in Vladikavkaz, from where she was taken to Moscow today.
Recall, Lia Umerova in December 2022 tried to drive from Kiev to the Crimea to his sick father. Given the political situation, it has transited through a number of European countries. When entering Russia, she had to pass a checkpoint in North Ossetia. After crossing the border with Russia, she was detained, made a report on the violation of the rules of crossing the border and sent to the Temporary Detention Center for Foreigners in Vladikavkaz.
In March, the court ruled that Umerova was not a danger to Russia, she was released, but almost immediately she was detained again and made a report on disobedience to the police. She was arrested three times for 15 days.
