Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

The mayor of Novokuznetsk, Sergei Kuznetsov, said in an interview that the city administration is looking for a place to erect a monument to the former USSR Secretary General Joseph Stalin. “There are people whom Stalin offended or destroyed. But overall, he did a lot,” Kuznetsov said.
Previously, journalists counted at least 110 monuments to Stalin in Russia, 95 of which appeared during Putin’s presidency.
Let us recall that due to the fault of Stalin, large-scale political repressions were carried out, the victims of which were millions of innocent citizens. In addition, during the Second World War, many peoples of the USSR were deported: Chechens, Ingush, Kalmyks, Karachais, Balkars, Crimean Tatars and others. A significant part of them died.
