A second administrative case has been opened in Chechnya in Russia for searching for "extremist materials" online. The case was registered by the Naursky District Court, and local resident Isa Magomadov is listed as the offender.
Ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, while imprisoned in a clinic, wrote on the social network: “False accusations have been brought against me. I am sure that the Georgian people will release me.” According to the politician, the European Parliament, many countries and presidents demand his release. “Not for a minute do I put up with this unfair, Putin's conclusion! I intend to fight for freedom to the end, I hope for you,” Saakashvili said.
Mikheil Saakashvili has been treated at the Vivamed civilian clinic since May 2022. His health deteriorated after a 50-day hunger strike, which he declared after his arrest on October 1, 2021. Relatives of the ex-president and politicians from different countries have repeatedly asked the Georgian authorities to transfer him abroad for treatment.
