Georgia and Azerbaijan are striving to simplify border crossings: the parties plan to introduce a single-window system at joint border crossings.

The Malgobek City Court extended the arrest of Ingushetia resident Leila Gatagazheva until March 31. This was reported by the Memorial Human Rights Protection Center.
The 21-year-old mother of two is accused of collaborating with ISIS (a banned terrorist organization) for nearly seven years. At the same time, she is being held accountable for the same acts for which she served a sentence of 5 years in prison in Iraq. By the time she was extradited to the Russian Federation, the girl had overstayed her sentence by almost a year.
In court, lawyer Ramina Labazanova asked the investigator whether in Ingushetia there are people accused under this article (Article 208 of the Criminal Code) who are being held under house arrest. The investigator answered in the affirmative, but could not explain why Gatagazheva should be kept in custody. At the same time, she was already under house arrest and did not commit any violations. In addition, the investigation has not yet received a medical report on the state of health of the accused.
The criminal case is based on the testimony of a single classified witness. The defense cannot review the materials. Law enforcement agencies also wanted to force Leila to cooperate using psychological pressure and threats, noted lawyer Ramina Labazanova.
