Ukraine attacked southern Russia: children died in Krasnodar, and Ozon warehouses were hit

Overnight into August 24, drones attacked several regions in southern Russia. The consequences were most tragic in Krasnodar: drone debris fell on a private children's center, killing two children and injuring seven other children and two adults. This was reported by Veniamin Kondratyev, the governor of Krasnodar Krai.

According to Kondratyev, Ozon warehouse facilities also caught fire following the attack. Operations at the marketplace's logistics center in Krasnodar were halted. The company reported no casualties at the site.

Several other Ozon logistics facilities were also targeted that same night. A fire broke out in Makhachkala following an attack, and several people required medical attention. The warehouse is temporarily not accepting deliveries, and goods stored there are unavailable for order.

Ozon warehouses in Adygeysk and Nevinnomyssk were also in the strike zone. The company stated that staff were evacuated and that the facilities and goods themselves were undamaged. Both warehouses are temporarily closed. However, a fire did break out at the logistics center in the Takhtamukaysky District of Adygea.

In Dagestan, according to the republic's acting head Fyodor Shchukin, Ozon warehouse facilities in the Kumtorkalinsky District caught fire after drone fragments fell on them. Authorities reported no casualties.

In Stavropol Krai, air defense forces repelled a drone attack aimed at the Nevinnomyssk industrial zone, according to Governor Vladimir Vladimirov. He did not report any consequences of the attack.

That same night, Russia attacked the Odesa region with missiles and drones. According to Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the main strikes targeted food warehouses and energy infrastructure. Private homes were also damaged, and fires broke out in several locations.

In Odesa, an Epicentr hypermarket caught fire following the attack; a fire was also reported at another facility belonging to the same chain. As of the time of publication, authorities had not reported any casualties.
