Berlin has recalled its ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, for consultations. The decision, made by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadepoel, is intended to determine how to proceed, the ministry announced.

The Makhachkala Garrison and Southern District Military Courts did not satisfy the claim of Nuradil Bagautdinov from Dagestan against the Russian Ministry of Defense. The plaintiff was unable to obtain compensation for moral damage in the amount of 3 million rubles.
In September 2022, Bagautdinov was mobilized to “SVO” in Ukraine, despite serious illness and disability. After being called to the military registration and enlistment office, he was denied a medical examination and did not accept documents confirming his disability and illnesses. Only a month after being sent to Ukraine, the man received leave for rehabilitation and a medical examination. At the same time, it took several months to draw up documents for his dismissal from service.
Subsequently, the courts sided with the Ministry of Defense and did not satisfy Bagautdinov’s claims for compensation for moral damage. They referred to a formal missed deadline for filing a claim.
