In Volgograd, a court found Sergei Lomakin guilty of demonstrating extremist symbols. He posted a photo of the crossed flags of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army as his WhatsApp profile picture.

In court, Lomakin said that he did not know about the ban on this symbol. Repentance and the presence of a young child were considered mitigating circumstances for him. He was fined 1 thousand rubles.
