MIA: Three police officers shot dead in Makhachkala

At about 14:20 in Makhachkala, at the intersection of Kerimov and Magomedtagirov streets, unknown individuals attacked a traffic police unit. As a result, three police officers were killed, the press service of the MIA for Dagestan reported. The attackers fled in a service car. The car has already been found.

It is noted that the incident was accompanied by intense gunfire, and there are also wounded among the law enforcement officers.

Among the accidentally injured is a 12-year-old girl. She was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand.

According to the office of the head of Dagestan, the MIA officers tried to stop the car, but the driver did not obey and opened fire on them. Preliminary, there were four attackers. At least one of them was armed with a machine gun or a carbine. A surveillance camera recorded how he was wounded by return fire, fell near the traffic police car and shot at the police officers. There he was liquidated.

Later, law enforcement officers eliminated the second participant in the attack. Two more, tentatively, managed to escape in a traffic police car. The "Interception" plan was introduced, and measures are being taken to find the attackers.
