A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia drew up two protocols under the article on the absence of the "foreign agent" marking against the founder of the organization "Ingush Independence Committee" Anzor Kartoyev, also known as Ansar Garkho.
Earlier, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation added the "Ingush Independence Committee" to the list of "undesirable organizations". It was recognized as a structure whose activities, according to the Russian authorities, pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order, defense capability and security of the state.
Earlier, signs of extremism and calls for violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation were found in the actions of the organization. A criminal case was also opened against one of its founders, Akhmet Gudiyev.
The goal of the Committee is the secession of Ingushetia from the Russian Federation. Its organizers also submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft resolution on "recognizing the right of the Ingush people to create an independent sovereign state."
