In Stavropol, a case may be initiated due to the demonstration of the flags of Armenia and Greece
Investigators began an investigation into the incident in the village of Essentukskaya, Predgorny District, Stavropol Territory. At school No. 7, during the New Year's celebration, some students took out the flags of Armenia and Greece at the dance and started waving them. The teacher reacted to the situation by taking away the flags from the schoolchildren.

"After that, teachers began to receive threats from unknown persons. In addition, representatives of the diaspora send complaints to various authorities about the teachers with the demand that they be fired," the Sledkom reported.

Law enforcement officers are investigating. They can initiate a case of inciting hatred and hooliganism. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin entrusted acting Oleg Sidorov, the head of the department for Stavropol, to report on the progress of the inspection.

According to employees of the Ministry of Education of Stavropol, the teachers "interrupted the manifestation of a disrespectful attitude towards the state symbols and asked the students to remove the canvases, explaining that the discotheque is not a place for dancing with state flags."
