In the city of Urus-Martan, at the intersection of Sovetskaya Street and Andreeva Street, an armored personnel carrier hit and crushed a Zhiguli car (the armored vehicle actually drove over it). Shamsuddin Ibrisov, born in 1937, who was driving, died, and two more people were injured.

The APC tried to escape from the scene, but employees of the Urus-Martan District Department of Internal Affairs gave chase and managed to stop it. The driver was taken to the police department. 30 minutes later, military personnel from the unit in which the detainee served arrived there. After some negotiations, they took him with them.

On September 23 and 24, the village of Oktyabrskoye, Grozny district, was blocked. The military, in several armored personnel carriers with license plates smeared with mud, carried out targeted inspections of the houses of local residents. During the “operation” they detained six young men returning home from work. They were all beaten and held until the evening. They were released only after fellow villagers took to the streets. During a spontaneous rally, the mother of one of the captured, a local administration worker, was hit in the face by the military with the butt of a machine gun.

Having completed the “operation”, the Russian unit moved to the neighboring village of Alkhan-Kala.

The head of the administration of the village of Dzhalka learned that in the neighboring area, the so-called. Murzaevka, which geographically belongs to the city of Argun, has a burial place. Accompanied by Russian military personnel, he went there and checked everything himself. The information was confirmed: 25 corpses were buried at a depth of no more than one meter. Most of the dead are dressed in camouflage uniforms. A criminal case regarding the discovery of the corpses was opened by the Gudermes District Prosecutor's Office, but was then transferred to the Argun Prosecutor's Office. Relatives of the missing people and public organizations involved in searching for the disappeared were not notified of the opening of the grave.

At 11 p.m., Mira Street in Gudermes came under mortar fire. The fire came from the side of the military unit, located within the boundaries of the populated area. Several houses and buildings were damaged. All windows of the refugee temporary detention center facing the shelled street were broken. A young man who was in his yard at the time received a shrapnel wound in the back. The shells damaged two cars and killed two cows.

The next day, residents of Mira Street and the TsVR filed a complaint with the commandant’s office. Its employees did not deny the guilt of the Russian military, but advised to contact the city administration regarding compensation for damage.
