The smallest share of workers with salaries above the national average are in Ingushetia and Chechnya

The smallest share of workers with salaries above the national average is recorded in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This follows from the rating published by RIA Novosti.

The last places – from 85th to 83rd – are occupied by Ingushetia, Chechnya and Kabardino-Balkaria, respectively, where the share of workers with salaries above the national average does not exceed 6.6%, 6.7% and 8.6%. At the same time, in all three regions, the share of those who receive more than two national average salaries is the same – 1.6%.

The situation is slightly better in Dagestan and Karachay-Cherkessia, which took 81st and 80th places. In Dagestan, 9.7% of employees with salaries above the national average were recorded, while only 1.8% receive twice as much. In the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, these figures are 10.2% and 2%, respectively.

North Ossetia is in 74th place in the rating, where 13.1% receive salaries above the Russian average, twice as much – 2.1%. In Stavropol Krai, which took 73rd place, the figures are slightly higher – 13.6% and 3.2%, respectively.

The leaders in the share of employees with high salaries among Russian regions were Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (65.8%), Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (54.2%) and Magadan Oblast (53.3%).
