At least 10 Russian citizens survived the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane
At least 10 Russians survived the crash of the plane in Kazakhstan, flying from Baku to Grozny. Both pilots died.

Also among the survivors are citizens of Azerbaijan (13) and Kyrgyzstan (3).
 
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the fact of the plane crash on violation of traffic safety rules and operation of air transport (Article 263 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the department.
 
In the morning, a few kilometers from Aktau in the southwest of Kazakhstan, a plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed. The preliminary cause of the crash is an explosion of an oxygen tank. Also, according to eyewitnesses, a bird had previously gotten into the engine. Due to fog, the Azerbaijan Airlines flight was diverted to Makhachkala, and then to Aktau.
 
According to official data, there were 67 people on board, including 5 crew members. It was previously reported that 32 people survived.
