At least 200 Chechen residents killed in the war in Ukraine

At least 206 fighters from Chechnya have been officially recognized as killed in the "Northeastern Military District" zone. These are the data from the reports of the republic's administrations and official agencies.

The day before, it became known that Artur Matsayev, Aslad Murykov, Aslan Susurkayev and Salambek Sadulayev died in the war. This was reported on a social network by the Argun mayor's office. Each was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Chechnya.

In total, as of the beginning of August, about 2,222 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District were killed in the "Northeastern Military District": 967 from Dagestan, 299 from North Ossetia, 459 from Stavropol Krai, 157 from Kabardino-Balkaria, 72 from Ingushetia, and 76 from Karachay-Cherkessia.
