In total, as of the beginning of August, about 2,222 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District were killed in the "Northeastern Military District": 967 from Dagestan, 299 from North Ossetia, 459 from Stavropol Krai, 157 from Kabardino-Balkaria, 72 from Ingushetia, and 76 from Karachay-Cherkessia.
