Elena Patyaeva—a friend of Seda Suleymanova, who disappeared three years ago after being forcibly returned from St. Petersburg to Chechnya—was detained in Grozny. At the last meeting of the Maikop City Court of Adygea, the prosecutor asked to sentence Inver Siyukhov to nine years in prison. He was accused of organizing the activities of an extremist organization.
Inver Siyukhov has been in custody since April 2021. He is accused of participating in the organization “Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia,” which is recognized as extremist.
