Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that a significant portion of the current opposition in the country is aligned with foreign interests. Many of its representatives, according to the head of government, effectively act as foreign emissaries.
One of Azerbaijan's opposition leaders announced he was banned from participating in the Democracy Forum
Ali Karimli, leader of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, announced he was banned from participating in the Democracy Forum in Prague. He claimed the ban came from President Ilham Aliyev.
A representative of the forum noted that Karimli has been unable to leave the country for nearly 20 years and has been denied internet access since 2020, preventing him from speaking even online.
"Thus, it has once again been confirmed that even if Ilham Aliyev, with the help of the authorities, can ban my foreign travel, he is unable to hide from the world the truth about the repressions that reign in our country, the oppression of the opposition, and the obstacles created for me personally," Karimli emphasized.
