Authorities in Dagestan have banned the online publication of photographs and information about certain objects and events, citing security concerns. The ban includes images of bridges, air defense systems, the aftermath of drone attacks, as well as information about the type, launch location, crash site, and flight path of drones. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the republic, Sergey Melikov.

The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow held another hearing on the case of a native of Chechnya, teenager Muslim Murdiev, accused of hooliganism after an incident near the Aviapark shopping center and Khodynskoye Pole Park in September 2023.
The Chechen Human Rights Commissioner Mansur Soltayev said that the court requested surveillance footage from the shopping center. The Ombudsman had previously petitioned for this. According to Soltayev, these recordings will prove that Murdiev is innocent, and that the incidents he is accused of were committed by other people.
The Ombudsman reiterated that he considers the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest imposed on the teenager unjustified, since it prevents him from studying and receiving medical care.
According to the Investigative Committee, Murdiyev and four other teenagers beat up eight people, provoking verbal conflicts with random passers-by. In turn, Soltayev claims that Murdiyev intervened in only one fight, protecting a 12-year-old child from being beaten.
In December 2024, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, expressed confidence in Murdiyev's innocence, stating that the teenager would not be convicted.
