An officer from Dagestan who fought in Ukraine was convicted

The garrison military court in Moscow imposed a suspended sentence of five years on the commander of a motorized rifle platoon, Murad Askerov, who fought in Ukraine. He was found guilty of leaving his unit without permission during the period of mobilization.
In court, the serviceman admitted guilt. He explained that he left the unit to see his children and file a divorce from his wife.
When passing the sentence, it was taken into account that Askerov has a dependent minor child, as well as the fact that the serviceman was held captive in Ukraine and expressed a desire to go to fight again.
