A former paratrooper from Dagestan convicted of "discrediting" the army reported a beating in a pre-trial detention center

A former soldier, a native of Dagestan, Askhabali Alibekov (known on YouTube as the blogger "Wild Paratrooper") was beaten by the staff of the pre-trial detention center. This was reported by his wife.

The incident occurred in April, after which the relatives of the men are unable to contact him. Alibekov is currently in the colony of the village of Akhtarsky, Krasnodar Territory. In March, the Primorsky District Court of Novorossiysk sentenced him to one year and two months in prison in the case of “discrediting” the Russian army.
According to the lawyer, Alibekov wanted to save his son from death in the war with Ukraine. The man advocated for peace after the start of "SVO". In 2018, he served in the Black Sea Fleet and called for a boycott of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. The Human Rights Center "Memorial" recognized Askhabali Alibekov as a political prisoner.
