The mother of the battered girl was charged in Ingushetia

The criminal investigation into the injury of a 4-year-old girl in Malgobeke continues. At present, the mother of the child has been charged under article 111, paragraph 2, of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of serious harm to health). The woman is in custody.

The family in which the tragedy occurred is registered with the bodies of the preventive system, whose actions (omissions) during the investigation will be given legal assessment. This was reported in the office of the Investigative Committee for Ingushetia.

The girl has been in the children’s hospital since last week in the intensive care unit. The law enforcers believe that the child’s injuries were allegedly caused by her mother and grandmother.
