Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.
The mother of the battered girl was charged in Ingushetia

The criminal investigation into the injury of a 4-year-old girl in Malgobeke continues. At present, the mother of the child has been charged under article 111, paragraph 2, of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of serious harm to health). The woman is in custody.

The girl has been in the children’s hospital since last week in the intensive care unit. The law enforcers believe that the child’s injuries were allegedly caused by her mother and grandmother.
