On the night of August 25, drones attacked several districts in the Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblasts. The worst consequences were in the village of Afipsky in Krasnodar Krai: two people were killed and two more were injured after debris fell on a train station.
The Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan called upon the European deputies to reconsider their decision, not to feed the revanchist forces, to conduct constructive dialogue based on mutual respect and understanding. This is stated in Baku’s statement.
The text of the resolution includes not only the European Parliament’s misleading comments on Azerbaijan, but also lies and offensive rhetoric aimed at destabilizing the situation in the Karabakh region. It was noted in Baku that MEPs deliberately ignore the country’s efforts to achieve peace and provoke revanchist forces in Armenia.
The Parliament drew attention to the fact that the resolution calls into question the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, which is a disrespect to both international law and the Charter of the European Parliament itself.
