Pashinyan says there are no political prisoners in Armenia

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the people on Citizen’s Day. He noted that there are no political prisoners in the country, all information is available to the public through television, media, social networks, and public and economic activities are completely free. According to Pashinyan, the reason for all the failures, including the war with Azerbaijan, is that for many years the country lacked democracy, law and taboos.

After the People’s Non-Violent Velvet Revolution in 2018, no elections at any level have been falsified in the Republic of Armenia, and the Citizen had the opportunity to make decisions, elect a council of elders, the head of the community, the National Assembly and the Prime Ministerof the Minister’s free will. Free expression of voters' will became the only formula for forming the government», - stressed the Prime Minister.
