Almost 70% of Georgians called the Russian Federation their enemy

69% of Georgian citizens consider the Russian Federation an enemy of their country. This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC).

Georgians named the United States (24%), Azerbaijan (8%), Ukraine (7%) and Turkey (4%) as their country's main friends.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated in the media that “if Putin wins... he will want not only Georgia, but the entire Russian “near abroad.”

“Putin has made it clear that he considers the collapse of the Soviet Union, in his words, the greatest disaster of the 20th century and that it must be restored. He will need not only Georgia, but also the entire Russian “near abroad,” Johnson is convinced.
