Today, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posted a joint photo on his Telegram channel with the senator from Dagestan, billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, with whom he had a violent conflict last summer and fall. Kadyrov and Kerimov found themselves on opposite sides of a family dispute over the Wildberries marketplace.
Another prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine involved natives of Dagestan and Chechnya
Another prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place – 95 people from each side. The United Arab Emirates provided mediation efforts.
It is reported that three “Kadyrovites” were among the prisoners. In addition, 11 Dagestani soldiers returned from captivity.
“We don’t need Chechens who surrendered to Ukrainian captivity. Surrender is a disgrace for a Chechen that can only be washed away with blood,” said Apti Alaudinov, deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the Akhmat volunteer formation, in September.
In such a situation, he advised Chechens to commit suicide: “Take a pen, a nail, attack someone and do everything to get killed. To end your life as men.”
