The search for Bekkhan Aushev has been ongoing for 13 days. Volunteers from Chechnya have joined the effort

The search for 27-year-old Bekkhan (Abu) Aushev, who is missing after allegedly falling into the Assa River in the Dzheyrakh District on July 21, has been ongoing in Ingushetia for 13 days. The young man has not yet been found.

Over the past few days, rescuers and volunteers have surveyed dozens of kilometers of the Assa River, its shoreline, and debris from trees and boulders. The strong current of the mountain river, difficult terrain, and numerous natural obstacles complicate the search. Volunteers and relatives of the missing man have repeatedly appealed to residents of Ingushetia to join the search, noting a shortage of volunteers.

Later, Bekkhan's mother made a similar appeal to residents of Ingushetia and Chechnya.

Over the past 24 hours, videos have circulated on social media showing a convoy of National Guard vehicles arriving in Ingushetia from Chechnya. Volunteers from the neighboring republic have also joined the search for Bekhan. The publications note that residents of Chechnya have responded to the Aushev family's tragedy.

Rescuers, emergency services personnel, and numerous volunteers are conducting the search. The family asks that unconfirmed information not be disseminated and thanks everyone who has come to the search site or provided assistance remotely.
