Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze expressed Tbilisi's readiness to take all necessary measures to restore ties with Ukraine as much as possible. Following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Yerevan, the Georgian politician emphasized that, despite existing difficulties, relations between the countries have a long history of friendship.
Poland expelled Georgian citizens
The Polish border service deported 15 Georgian citizens to their homeland. Three of them posed a threat to state security and public order in Poland.
In addition to Georgian citizens, the operation included foreigners transported from Germany, Sweden, Spain and the Czech Republic - they were also expelled.
In October 2023, Poland deported 10 Georgian citizens.
