The Russian Embassy in Paris reproached France for the “radicalization” of Mogushkov

The Russian embassy in Paris said Mohammed Mogushkov had been radicalized in France since he was a child when he arrived there with his family.

“I would like to draw your attention to the fact that he arrived in France at the age of 5 and has lived in this country since then. It is obvious that his radicalization did not occur in Russia,” the embassy said.

Let us remind you that on October 13, 20-year-old native of Ingushetia Mohammed Mogushkov committed an attack with a knife at a school in Arras. He fatally wounded a teacher and stabbed two other school employees. The man reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar" before the attack.

According to the telegram channel “Chechens, Diaspora, Europe”, six people from the Mogushkov family are in custody. In addition to the attacker, these are his two brothers (17-year-old Movsar and 21-year-old Suleiman), uncle, aunt and cousin. Mogushkov’s sister, who called him a “monster,” was released yesterday.

After this incident, the head of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs allowed dozens of Russians to be expelled from the country, including natives of the North Caucasus. The list of people posing a threat to the security of France includes about 60 citizens of the Russian Federation.
