Today, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posted a joint photo on his Telegram channel with the senator from Dagestan, billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, with whom he had a violent conflict last summer and fall. Kadyrov and Kerimov found themselves on opposite sides of a family dispute over the Wildberries marketplace.
When the special military operation in Ukraine began, Georgian leaders “showed a pragmatic approach.” President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania spoke about this in an interview with TASS.
“Georgia was not involved in the provocation that Ukraine imposed on it. Repeated calls by the Ukrainian leadership to open a second front did not find support. In this sense, I believe that this is such a sign of political maturity. We have our development path, and we are following it. At the same time, we are interested in good neighborly relations with Georgia,” Bzhania said.
He also noted that there are small incidents on the border of Abkhazia and Georgia, but they are not critical. Every year, the efforts made by the Abkhaz and Russian sides increase the level of border security to the required levels.
