President of Azerbaijan spoke about peace with Armenia

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at the Global Baku Forum that the time has come to build peace. And the international actors who are trying to play the role of mediator will try to "convince Armenia not to lose this chance".
Aliyev called the 44-day Karabakh War of 2020 "the liberation of territories" and his "legitimate right". In his view, Azerbaijan had not committed any war crime or genocide.
«As for the accusations of shelling of Armenian peaceful cities and villages during the war and after it, shooting of Armenian prisoners of war, encroachment on the territory of Armenia, these processes have not been assessed, including by the international community», - said Aliyev.
Today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that a reliable mechanism for institutional dialogue between Nagorny Karabakh and Baku is needed. Azerbaijan is going on new provocations. It is preparing ethnic cleansing and genocide of Armenians of Karabakh. This only confirms the necessity of sending an international fact-finding mission to the region», - said Pashinyan.
