During the arrest of a social activist from Dagestan, security forces damaged his cervical vertebrae
The social activist and blogger Ramazan Rabadanov's cervical vertebrae were damaged during his arrest. He urgently needs help in restoring them, as he cannot sleep. This was reported by the chairman of the republic's Public Monitoring Commission Shamil Khadulaev after visiting SIZO-1.

"The request has been heard and assistance in this will be provided by the staff of SIZO-1. There are five more people in the cell with him. There is a TV and a refrigerator. He and his cellmates have no complaints about the conditions of detention," Khadulaev said.

Earlier, a court in Makhachkala arrested social activist Ramazan Rabadanov for two months, until January 7. He was accused of illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition.

During the debate, he apologized to the security forces and the executive authorities. Rabadanov also promised to delete his profiles from YouTube, Instagram and other social networks. In addition, he asked the audience in the hall not to take any measures in his support.

According to the lawyer, the investigation did not provide all the necessary documents, and the detention and interrogation reports were drawn up without a defense attorney and cannot be admitted.

On November 7, Rabadanov was detained by officers of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Makhachkala. They allegedly found a pistol, cartridges and a grenade on him. The blogger told his relatives that the security forces had planted prohibited items on him.

Rabadanov's relatives noted that he had received threats from law enforcement agencies four times regarding his live broadcasts in support of those detained in the case of the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport, who were protesting against the arrival of a plane from Israel.
