Today, Azerbaijan celebrates the 34th anniversary of its restoration of state independence. On August 30, 1991, the Supreme Council of the Republic adopted the Declaration on the Restoration of Independence, and on October 18 of the same year, the Constitutional Act enshrining this status was adopted.

Nikolai Zhdanov, a resident of the village of Alexandrovskoye, Stavropol Territory, was fined for "discrediting the army" due to a conflict in a local hospital. This is reported by "Kavkaz. Realities".
According to the protocol published on the website of the district court, the man, while in a medical institution, publicly shouted the pro-Ukrainian slogan “Glory to Ukraine!”, and also showed a “Nazi salute”, throwing his hand up. Zhdanov did not admit guilt and insisted on dismissing the case due to the lack of corpus delicti. As evidence, the investigation used a video from the hospital.
The court found Nikolay Zhdanov guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine, the amount of which was not specified in the decision. Recall that the maximum punishment under this article provides for a fine of 50 thousand rubles for citizens of the Russian Federation, and a repeated violation within a year threatens with criminal prosecution.
