The regions of the North Caucasus Federal District were at the bottom of the ranking of the socio-economic situation

Ingushetia took 81st place out of 85 in the ranking of the socio-economic situation of Russian regions in 2022. Karachay-Cherkessia - 80th place.
North Ossetia - in 78th position, Kabardino-Balkaria - a line above. Chechnya is in 70th place. The situation is better assessed in Dagestan - 58th place.

The leaders of the rating are Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan. The outsiders are Altai, Tuva, Kalmykia, Jewish Autonomous Region.

The rating was compiled by the experts of the agency "RIA Rating" according to the data of Rosstat, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Treasury. Various indicators were used in the calculation. These are the volume of production of goods and services, budget revenues, unemployment and poverty, the share of profitable enterprises in the region, the level of tax collection, birth rates, mortality rates, and others.
