Early Monday morning, Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel that the threat from drones in the region persists. He reported that over two dozen drones were shot down overnight in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and four districts: Verkhnedonskoy, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, and Sholokhovsky. According to Slyusar, there have been no reports of casualties or damage.
Authorities in the Volgograd Region have not commented on the overnight attack.
In the Voronezh Region, an attack resulted in two deaths and at least 17 injuries. Additionally, five people were wounded when a strike hit a carriage on a train traveling from Anapa to Moscow—a route that passes through the Rostov Region.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side claims that the Russian military used several missiles and 140 drones in the overnight assault. The latter included Shahed-series drones—among them 70 jet-powered variants—as well as "Gerbera" UAVs and "Parodiya" (Parody) decoy drones. According to Kyiv, some of these drones were launched from a testing ground in Millerovo (Rostov Region) and from Gvardeyskoye in occupied Crimea. There are reports of casualties.
